MoveOutLedger is a digital service. Nothing physical is ever shipped; this page describes how results are delivered instead.

1. Nature of the service

MoveOutLedger checks each line of a move-out deduction against the inspection notes, invoices and receipts, matches the photos it names to the uploaded files, drafts the cost explanations and builds the evidence packet, with each value checked by code and a second AI model. It does not check any state's deposit law. There are no physical goods, packaging or postage involved at any point.

2. What you receive, and how

Results are delivered two ways, both digital:

• Dashboard: signed-in results appear in your account as soon as they're ready, with a download link for each output.
• API: if you use the API, a property management system or an AI assistant submits the files of one move-out and receives the evidence check per line, the packet, the dates as read and what is left to check.

A result is delivered only after the second-model review has run. If it could not run, nothing is delivered and the credits are returned to your balance.

Outputs produced: Evidence packet (PDF and editable Word): the dates as read, the deposit held, each line with its status, the evidence found, the move-in and move-out condition, a drafted cost explanation and the enclosures by file name, then the refund or amount above the deposit and the open follow-ups; the packet and the JSON state that no state's deposit law is checked; Line table (CSV), the result as JSON with what still needs checking listed first, and open-problems.csv when anything needs checking.

3. Turnaround time

Results are produced automatically; turnaround depends on document size and model availability. There is no fixed delivery window, but every job's status and stage are visible in your dashboard, and we notify you as this product describes: Job finished email.

4. Access to results

Results stay available for download for as long as we retain the underlying job's files — see retention in our privacy policy. Each dashboard row shows exactly how long its files will be kept.

5. API access

Programmatic access uses an API key you generate in the dashboard. There is no separate "shipping" step for API results: the same job record and download URLs are available through GET requests once the job finishes.

6. Account and access

You need a MoveOutLedger account (email + password, or a supported social sign-in) to submit work and receive results. No shipping address is collected or required.
